Metro Urbe was founded in 2005 by João Pedras and Helder da Silva Cordeiro, who coordinate a resident team of approximately 15 architects and a vast number of external teams from various specialities.

The challenges presented to us by clients are exhaustively tested and formatted to respond to the current demands of architecture and urbanism. We believe that architecture should be a response to a concrete need of the client and the city, adding value in conceptual terms in the quality of the object’s design.

The growth policy is based on a constant search for training, information and experimentation, combined with computer tools that allow us to model ideas and transform them into conceptual architectural objects that are fully worked on using BIM technology.

Responding to increasingly complex programs allows us to maintain high levels of quality and innovation, and a constant search for proposals with added value and principles of sustainability and environmental performance.
